Brickstone Plaza Visit

The Scouts of Notre Dame de Lourdes Pack 26 Webelos den made a visit toBrickstone Plaza in Andover during the December 8'th Den Meeting.

The Scouts, with a couple additional relatives, each brought a toy to donate to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign.

The Brickstone Plaza Christmas tree is known as one of the biggest trees in the country. Its over 100 feet tall, with hundreds of ornaments and thousands of lights.

Along with a local Christmas Villiage display, a visit to the plaza has become an annual event for many families throughout New England. The Scouts and their leaders took the opportunity to see this display, and make a service project out of it as well.

Webelos II Learn Some Science

The Scouts of Notre Dame de Lourdes Pack 26 Webelos II den spent a good deal of time working on their Science Badge during the months of October and November.

Air Pressure, gravity, inertia... these were all topics they had to do experiments with.

As they tried out the different activities and games, they learned quite a few facts about the world around them, as well as the scientific methods of testing different properties.

Chelmsford 4th of July Parade

NDL Pack 26 Celebrates America!

The Scouts of Notre Dame de Lourdes Pack 26 attended the annual Fourth of July Parade held in Chelmsford this summer.

Riding in an excellent float, the Cubs and Leaders of NDL Pack 26 enjoyed the thousands of people who had come to see the parade.

The Float was based upon the theme of the Pinewood Derby, and was decorated with cutout cars made by the Scouts during their den meetings and earlier events. Everyone had a great time, and we are looking forward to next year!
