"THEREMIN: AN ELECTRONIC ODYSSEY"
Through events seemingly lifted from modern-day espionage, this compelling film recounts the dramatic biography of Russian engineer Lev Termin (Leon Theremin), who pioneered the field of electronic music with his invention of the first electronic instrument in 1919: the Theremin.

The nineteenth-century Lowellian painters excelled and contributed on many aspects of the artistic community in the Merrimack region. Some were founders of art schools and art societies as well as leading painters in landscape scenes. Other painters excelled in still life painting while others depicted religious subjects.

In this thought provoking musical journey through the Deep South, director Andrew Douglas tracks Alt-Country crooner Jim White as he brings his music to such diverse establishments as churches, jails, and roadside bars. Along the way, Douglas shows us the touching world of the impoverished whites who have been cast aside by modern society, only to create their own unorthodox culture. Preceding the film will be a special live performance by Northhampton acoustic string band APPALACHIAN STILL.
