Historical Society is to collect, preserve and publish materials
related to Lowell and to encourage and promote the study of the
history of the city. Membership is open to the public and all
contributions are tax deductible. Members are offered a variety of
historical programs each year and advance invitations to exhibits,
workshops and conferences. By joining, members receive the Society's
newsletter twice a year as well as a discount on selected
publications. Members also serve in a variety of capacities
including as Society directors, officers and volunteers.
