The
Bridge Review: Merrimack Valley Culture publishes high quality original
works and historical material that emphasize the place, nature, culture,
and society of the Greater Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and southern
New Hampshire. The Bridge Review publishes writing, visual art, music
and lyrics, video clips, and other creative and scholarly
works that are relevant to our bio-region.
Submitting
To submit
work, write to
Paul_Marion@uml.edu or send mail to The Bridge Review: Merrimack Valley Culture,
Paul Marion, Editor, Office of the Provost, UMass Lowell, One University
Avenue, Lowell, MA 01852. Text documents must be submitted
in Word (12 point Times), double-spaced, with all text justified to
the left margin. Materials sent by regular mail if a self-addressed
stamped envelope with sufficient postage is provided. The editors
will consider creative and scholarly material, provided that it is
suitable for electronic transmission to the Bridge Review
audience. Works that are substantial in size should be discussed
with the editors prior to submission. Select, representative
material is more appropriate for submission than long works.
Exceptions may be made, but only with the agreement of the editors
prior to submission. he editors will try to work with
contributors to publish any high quality original or historical
material, providing that it is suitable for electronic transmission
to The Bridge Review audience. Works that are substantial in size
should be discussed with the editor prior to submission.
Rights
Each
contributor retains rights to his or her material after publication
in The Bridge Review. All material submitted for publication
must be accompanied by a letter of permission for use in The
Bridge Review and related publicity. The editors have
rights to publish the material as part of
The Bridge Review: Merrimack Valley Culture, as part of any publicity, and
in the on-line archive of The Bridge Review.
Selection of material for publication is the sole responsibility of
the editors. The editors will select the format for presentation of
the material, but every attempt will be made to publish the
material in accordance with the wishes of the contributor.
