Born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts, Henri Marchand graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1971 and Harvard University in 1990. In between he attended Lowell Technological Institute/ULowell and completed a two year theatre program at the American Center for the Performing and Creative Arts. He has written profile and feature stories for the Lowell Sun as a correspondent.
In 1986 he joined
the staff of The Lowell Plan, Inc. where he held a number of
positions, most recently as assistant director. He currently works
at UMass Lowell as Production Manager for WUML’s Sunrise
program.
Henri lives in Lowell with his wife Nancy and their children, Nora, Adam, and Joel.
“Election Day” is one of a collection of stories and sketches in progress developed in collaboration with his friend and cousin, Richard Brouillard.
