Kate Hanson is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a BA in English and a concentration in writing. She is co-editor (and creator) of a Lowell, Mass.-based literary magazine titled Renovation Journal. She was recently a judge in a “Poetry for Peace and Justice” competition for a grassroots organization, Greater Lowell for Peace and Justice. Her most recent writing has been published in UMass Lowell’s The Offering, and The Wormwood Journal.
