Paula
Sanders McCarron was born in Lowell and grew up in North Chelmsford,
MA. She graduated from Lowell State College in 1975, and moved to
Anchorage, Alaska, in 1982. She has worked in nursing home,
hospice and home care services for the past twenty five years. She
returns to the Lowell area regularly to visit family. One of her
particular fascinations is the number of poets residing in Alaska
who share the Merrimack Valley/Massachusetts connection. Her website,
Free Flight, highlights the work of Alaskan writers and poets. Her
poetry has appeared in Ice-Floe, Explorations and
Famous Reporter.
