Growing up in Boston's North End I was always fascinated and amused by its exuberant people. Just imagine hundreds of Italians crammed into a very small area all vying for attention. This was my studio al fresco!

I have filled many sketchbooks with drawings of these wonderfully animated people. In this exhibition I hope to create the feeling of works in progress. Therefore, the drawings hang unframed to allow the viewer to enter my life size sketchbook.

More recently I have attempted to sketch out these memories in the form of poetry.
