The news of the transcontinental telegraph is not exaggerated, and it runs through the Merrimack Valley.

In May, 1998 the editors of the Bridge Review asked me to work with them to develop an Andover poetry anthology. I asked poets for email submissions and many people obliged. Others sent handwritten poems via US mail.

This collection begins with poetry from Andover's history. I arranged the first six entries in chronological order and the works by contemporary poets in alphabetical order.

Several of these pages are now available in printed form at the Adover Bookstore.
