Hello. My name is John Boutselis. These pages present a photographic essay about a moving and awakening experience in my life. Through the essay, I hope to share some of my experiences with you.

I was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in the early 1960's and have served on the police force of Lowell since 1987. Until recently, I was assigned to the Gang Unit of the Lowell Police Department.

In July, 1995 I had the opportunity to visit Cambodia and my experiences on that trip provide the focus for this photo essay.
