Judith Dickerman-Nelson is the director of the Young Parent Program, a Lowell, Massachusetts alternative education program for single mothers who have dropped out of school. She also teaches poetry and composition at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She is the co-founder of the Lowell Review, and her writing has appeared in a number of journals, including: the Red Brick Review, Merrimack: A Poetry Anthology, and Soundings East.
