Kevin Harkins, a Lowell native, is a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston. He has worked as an independent commercial photographer for almost twenty years. His Lowell photographs have appeared in numerous publications and exhibitions. He chaired the Lowell Cultural Council for several years and is a past member of the board of directors of the Lowell Office of Cultural Affairs. He lives with his wife, Janet, and their children in a home on the south bank of the Merrimack River.
