Susan Kapuscinski Gaylord
was active in the Lowell art scene in the early 80s as a founding
member of Art Alive! The Greater Lowell Art Co-op. In 1985, she
moved down the Valley to Newburyport at the mouth of the Merrimack.
Since 1990, she has concentrated on the book form. Her limited edition
and artists books are in numerous collections, including the
Museum of Modern Art Library and the Yale University Library. She
also teaches and writes about bringing the book arts into the schools.
