KIDS
COUNT Data Book, a project of the Annie E. Casey
Foundation, is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of
children in the United States, including Indicators of Child Well-Being,
Juvenile Justice statistics, economic and demographic information. The raw
data is available online at this site, as are maps, state rankings, etc.

Institute researches family violence in all age groups, distributes their

Since 1981, Family
Support America (originally known as Family Resource
Coalition of America) has been helping the family support movement grow.
FSA promotes family support as the nationally recognized movement to
strengthen and support families and places the principles of family
support practice at the heart of every setting in which children and
families are present. Site includes many publications, and links to other
resources.

NICHCY
is the national information and referral center for information on
disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and
other professionals, with a special focus is children and youth (birth to
age 22).

The National
Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges is composed of
judges, referees, and commissioners who deal with juvenile and family
related issues such as: child abuse and neglect, termination of parental
rights, child support enforcement, adoption and foster care, and juvenile
delinquency. The National Council serves as a clearinghouse for juvenile
information and statistics, and is recognized as one of the nation's most
esteemed research facilities. |
